Zacatecas Present at the Cities Branding Summit ’25 in Querétaro

On August 20 and 21, the First International Colloquium, Cities Branding Summit ’25, was held in Querétaro. This unprecedented event focused on how to transform the names of cities, states, and countries into brands that create identity and enhance cultural and tourism values.

In a dynamic and inspiring environment, internationally renowned speakers participated, including:

During the colloquium, Zacatecas was represented by the Director General of Tourism, Berenice Villagrana, who highlighted the importance of participating in these types of spaces for reflection and innovation to strengthen Zacatecas’s national and international presence as a valuable cultural and tourist destination.

Likewise, the hosting and leadership of Mariana Ortiz, Secretary of Tourism of Querétaro, and the Mayor of Querétaro, Felipe Fernando Macías, were recognized for consolidating their city as the host of this important forum.

The Director of Tourism of Zacatecas emphasized that, under the vision of Mayor Miguel Varela, the municipality of Zacatecas maintains a firm commitment to tourism, promoting innovation, territorial identity, and promotional projects that seek to position the city as one of the leading destinations in the country and the world.
