One of the eight missing people from Jesús María, Aguascalientes, has been identified among bodies found in Zacatecas.

One of the bodies found inside an abandoned van in the state of Zacatecas, on the border with Aguascalientes, belonged to a man identified as Javier, who was 45 years old.

According to the search bulletin from the Aguascalientes State Commission for the Search for Persons, the disappearance occurred on May 8, 2025, in the community of Jesús Gómez Portugal, better known as Margaritas, in the municipality of Jesús María.

The average age of the victim was 1.55 meters tall; he weighed 70 kilograms; he had a dark complexion; a medium build; dark brown hair; and brown eyes. He also had several tattoos, including one of a woman wearing charro clothing and an owl.

He also owned a navy blue Chevrolet Tahoe with Mexico City license plates, tinted windows, and chrome rims. The vehicle was found abandoned in Zacatecas.


It is presumed that these could be the bodies found inside a van on the border of Zacatecas and Aguascalientes.
The whereabouts of the seven individuals, who were also reported missing, but since March 27, 2025, and also in Margaritas, Jesús María municipality, are still unknown, so authorities are investigating.
