The Electoral Court of the State of Zacatecas (TRIJEZ), with a tie vote and with the casting vote of the presiding magistrate Gloria Esparza Rodarte, annulled the election for Mayor of the capital of Zacatecas, so it did not recognize the victory of Miguel Varela Pinedo and left the results without effect and revoked the certificate of majority delivered by the Electoral Institute of the State.
The proposal for annulment was from the report of magistrate José Ángel Yuen Reyes and had the vote of Magistrate Gloria Esparza Rodarte who, having the Presidency of the jurisdictional body, prevailed over the votes against magistrates Rocío Posadas and Teresa Rodríguez Torres, so now it will be left in the hands of the candidates to continue and appeal before the regional chamber of the Electoral Court of the Judicial Branch of the Federation.
Likewise, by unanimous vote, the Electoral Court of Justice ratified the victories of the candidates for mayors of Guadalupe and Villanueva, respectively, thus nullifying the challenge made by the PRI and the PRD, respectively.
As such, José Saldivar Mayor was ratified as the winning candidate in the election of Guadalupe and Rogelio González “chailito” was ratified as the winner of the election for municipal president of Villanueva.

He said that there were acts of the administrative authority (IEEZ) that affected the principles of impartiality, and, therefore, he charged partial acts in favor of the candidate of the “Fuerza y Corazón por Zacatecas”.
He also assured that the principle of equity was violated by hiring 16 radio interviews promoting his image and calling for a vote in favor of his candidacy.
And finally, he also considered that the constitutional principle of separation of church and state was violated, since he had a press conference with the directors of the Morismas de Bracho.
And finally, he also violated the principle of equity by making his report of work as a federal deputy outside the district constituency for which he was elected, and where he deployed electoral advertising before the beginning of the electoral campaigns.
