In Zacatecas, a group of armed men kill the nephew of the governor David Monreal Ávila.
The violence against politicians has not stopped and yesterday a relative of the Monreal Ávila family in Zacatecas and a Morena candidate for federal representative for District 16 of Ecatepec and Tlalnepantla, in the State of Mexico, were killed.
Yesterday, in Plateros, municipality of Fresnillo, Jorge Antonio Monreal Martínez, son of Juan Monreal, cousin of the Monreal Ávila brothers, was murdered in an armed attack.
He was assigned to the Directorate of Social Development of Fresnillo, under the command of Juan Pérez Guardado, murdered last Wednesday.
Monreal Martínez was the son of Juan Antonio Monreal Moreno, cousin of the Monreal Ávila family and who works in the city council as Coordinator of Delegations in the municipal government.
Ever since David Monreal became governor of Zacatecas, many members of his family have been reported working for different government agencies in that state, which is of course the clear sign of a nepotism situation in the Monrel administration. It is worth mentioning that Zacatecas has gone totally out of control in terms of insecurity during the AMLO administration.
