Parents demand investigation of FRIZ.
Relatives and friends of six young people from Zacatecas, who were abducted on the night of April 30 by alleged agents of the Zacatecas Special Reaction Force (FRIZ) and investigative police officers, and whose bodies were allegedly found yesterday in the community of Tepezalá, demanded the intervention of Cristian Paul Camacho Osnaya, head of the State Attorney General’s Office, to clarify the facts.
They specified that the abducted young people are Miguel Adán Mena Saucedo, 21; Esmeralda Muñoz Vargas, 21; Lluvia Paola Moreno Padilla, 16; Alan Sifuentes Redín, 21; and Frida Michele Muro, 21, as well as one other young person whose name has not yet been released.
On Thursday night, their parents went to the prosecutor’s office to file a report and shared it on social media.
“We respectfully request the help and collaboration of all three levels of government in the state of Zacatecas and the entire community to locate our family members and friends who were abducted yesterday by white vehicles belonging to the prosecutor’s office and two patrol cars from the FRIZ (Specialized Police Unit for the Investigation of Crimes Against Women),” they stated.
They also reported that those who abducted their children called several of them demanding a ransom of 2 million pesos for each young person in exchange for not killing them.
