As they performed “Jai Children” and “Ignorance,” their fans didn’t hesitate to sing along at the top of their lungs and show their affection through applause and shouts of euphoria.

The hits of this iconic band continued with “Changa Langa” and “Reggae Is Coming” in the midst of a pleasant evening that, framed by the architectural beauty of the World Heritage city, achieved its goal: connecting with the people.

Having been listed as one of the best reggae bands in Spanish, Gondwana reaffirmed why they are a favorite in Mexico.

“It’s an honor for us to be at this festival for the first time, and long live Mexico,” exclaimed the members.

Prior to the main event, there was also progressive rock, jazz, and funk from El Sonido de la Casa, a Zacatecas-based group that this time presented the show “Jam-on,” inspired by the jam sessions that marked the history of jazz and progressive rock.

This Tuesday, April 15, Buena Vista All Star will be on the main stage with the Una Noche En La Habana Tour event starting at 8 p.m.
